DESCRIPTION:

Seeking an IT Help Desk Analyst to support the organization’s technology tools and platforms to ensure availability of IT services for internal employees.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

- Provide client support for the technology systems using the available technologies (over phone, in person, remotely).

- Assists with implementations of technology-based solutions.

- Acts as project participant in many technology initiatives delivering services to the organization.

- Identify and propose solutions to issues that could affect customer satisfaction.

- Supports current environment and any changes to it.

- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong work-ethic, ability to work independently, prioritize work assignments and meet deadlines.

- Ability to multi-task several tasks/initiatives concurrently.

- Demonstrate initiative

- Possess excellent time management skills.

- Resourcefulness, creativity, and good judgment.

- This position requires overtime/after hours work on occasion

 

REQUIREMENTS:

- Computer Science Degree or equivalent.

- 6+ months experience providing high quality technical support to business professionals.

- 6+ months experience with core technology platforms (e.g. Windows OS, TCP/IP networking, Lotus Notes/Outlook, Active Directory, MS Office).

- Strong knowledge of technical troubleshooting framework.

- Strong written and verbal English language communication skills.

- Experience in delivering and creating training is an asset.

- Knowledge of Investments Management Industry is an asset.

- ITIL, CompTIA A+ certifications are an asset

- Experence with ServiceNow – an asset

- Be proactive with continuous service improvement in mind when completing their assigned duties

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

- Motivation to learn new systems. Detail orientated.

- Ability to support end users using different technologies.

- Curiosity from a technology/learner perspective; be a quick learner.

- Knowledgeable in VBA/Excel macro coding and troubleshooting.

- Familiar with mobile technology (iOS, Blackberry, Windows 8, Windows 10, Android)
